Job Description:

• Attend to all work related issuance of Arabic letters of Guarantees and amendments.
• Attend to all work relating to issuance of letters of Guarantees, including amendments, expiries, cancellations and maintenance of relevant records.
• Ensure letters of Guarantees and amendments are processed within the approval limit or necessary approvals obtained from RM’s and applicable pricing rates applied.
• Input letters of Guarantees details in trade innovation system (TI).
• amendments – pull out files and input details in TI
• Accurate LG commission, amendment commissions and all other charges related to Guarantees applied and amount amortized as per bank amortization policy.
• Attending customer inquiries and handling correspondence bank inquiries as per SLA’s.
• Ensure timely dispatch of correspondence and advices to customers/banks where applicable.
• Prepare swift/telex messages related to payment of correspondent bank charges.
• Follow up on monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, LG commission and updating of records.
• Expiry and cancellation of LGs.
• Filing and despatching of LGs i.e., customer copies, ins. co. letters, swift copies etc.
• Handling Arabic specking customers / translating Arabic documents received by Trade Ops department to English
• Perform any other related tasks assigned by superiors of the unit management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Commerce or Banking
  • Minimum 05 years of experience exposure to banking operations.
  • At least 03 years of experience in Trade Finance.
  • Knowledge of banking processes and back office support.
  • Knowledge of the banking sector in Qatar and the region.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Advanced computer and MS office skills.
